Year in Review 2012

With the re-election of President Obama, US taking home the most gold Medals in the 2012 Summer Olympics, and Felix Baumgartner’s incredible stratosphere jump, the year 2012 proved to be a very eventful year for the United States. What you may not know about 2012 is that it also was a HUGE year here at Century 21 CELLI.

We finished off the year holding the spot of the #1 Real Estate Office in Stoneham! Our office had nearly 15% of the listings on the market and over 20 more units listed than any of the other offices! We were the 20thoffice overall out of 685 offices in the Eastern Middlesex Association of REALTORS ® and 14thin total units listed.

Not only has it been a big year in sales for Century 21 CELLI, but our office has also grown by three new staff members and several new agents.

Coleen Skinner joined the office in July of 2012 as the Office Coordinator and does a great job of keeping the office flowing. The agents are very grateful to have her as a resource when they stop by the office.

Judie Driscoll joined Century 21 CELLI as the Book Keeper this summer having known the owner, Craig Celli, for many years. Judie has been working in accounting for 30 years and is a vital part of our business.

Jessica Walsh most recently joined Century 21 CELLI team as the new Marketing Director. After recently graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State University, she is eager to get to work on the Century 21 CELLI Facebook, Twitter, Website/Blog and Pinterest pages to help get the Century 21 CELLI name out there.

Here at Century 21 CELLI one of our most important values is the desire to help others. Throughout the year, our office took part in many philanthropic events to give back to the community around us.

In May, our agents took part in the Easter Seals’ Walk With Me event in Wakefield. Century 21 Real Estate has been the National Founding Sponsor of the Easter Seals’ Walk With Me event for over 30 years. Easter Seals is a non-profit organization that helps adults and children living with a disability such as Autism, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and other special needs.

Stoneham Town Day is an event that takes place every September that we take pride in participating in. This year the 29thAnnual Town Day was held on September 15thon the Town Common. Over 100 businesses take part, and thousands of people show up to support local businesses, check out town recreation, arts, and culture, enjoy carnival rides, as well as plenty of food and beverage stands. The Century 21 CELLI stand featured a contest in which participants had to correctly guess the price of 10 houses that were sold by the office. The winner,  , that guessed the most number correctly, received an iPad!

In October, one of our very own agents, Anita Lamantea, was honored for being a Lifetime Member of the Eastern Middlesex Association of REALTORS ® for over 30 years. This took place at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading and Anita was able to share the night with her family, friends and fellow agents at Century 21 CELLI.
We held our annual Century 21 CELLI Holiday Party on December 13, 2012 where agents, their families, past clients, and friends alike joined in for the festivities.

On December 28, Century 21 CELLI Co-Sponsored an American Red Cross Blood Drive along with The First Congregational Church in Stoneham. We received 15 donors which in turn will save up to 45 lives! It was critical to get this drive in by the end of the year because they are still in dire need from the disaster of Hurricane Sandy.

Lastly, throughout the end of the year, we have been a drop off location for Coats for Kids the 18THannual coat drive run by Anton’s Cleaners. The coat drive goes through January 12, 2013, and we are still collecting gently wore, any size, winter coats. These coats are then distributed throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire free of charge to those in need of warmth during the cold winter season.

Century 21 CELLI is very excited about 2013 and what the upcoming year will bring us. Please keep up with our journey by liking our Facebook page (, following us on Twitter ( or checking back on our website for frequent blog post about all of our events.
